2Printer 8.0: Command Line Printing Software Gets a Major Update

What's new in 2Printer 8.0

Batch print Word, Excel, and Outlook files without additional software

Users of earlier versions of 2Printer had to have Microsoft Word or OpenOffice/LibreOffice installed to batch print Word, Excel, or Outlook files. Now 2Printer can handle these file types on its own without Office or any other additional software installed.

Ability to print any web page using URL as a source

One of the remarkable new features is the ability to print out any web page on the Internet – you can enter a web link (https://www…) to be used as a source in 2Printer's command line. You can also specify user (login) and password if they are required to access the web page.

New supported formats: HEIC/HEIF, VCF, EPUB, PRN, EMLX

2Printer can print a wide range of file types. But now even more popular formats are supported: iPhone HEIC photos, vCard electronic business card files, EPUB e-book files, PRN files, and EMLX Apple email message files.

Other improvements

  • Ability to disable printing blank or duplicate pages
  • Ability to insert an image watermark
  • 4 new options to use cover pages that separate printed documents
  • New and improved component for processing Outlook message files
  • Many fixed issues after customer requests and other improvements
