DocuFreezer 8.0 is now available with new features for creating, signing, and optimizing PDF documents in batch. This major update also brings new features for PDF files processing, more flexible attachment handling, and new file editing operations.

DocuFreezer 8.0: Create smaller PDFs, add digital signatures, convert to PDF/A, convert ZPL locally – and much more

What’s new in DocuFreezer 8.0

PDF/A, PDF/X, PDF/E output

You can now convert documents to different versions of PDF: PDF/A for long-term archiving, PDF/X for professional printing, or PDF/E for engineering document exchange.

Digital PDF signatures

Digitally sign PDF files using a certificate stored in a P12/PFX file or on a security token. Signing is available within DocuFreezer, so you can include it in your conversion workflows.

Optimize PDF files

Reduce output PDF size with the Minimize file size setting. It combines image compression and resolution adjustment with removal of unused resources and reuse of duplicate content. Results depend on the document and the selected settings.

Local Zebra ZPL conversion

Convert Zebra ZPL label files directly on your computer. Unlike previous versions, DocuFreezer 8.0 no longer requires third-party web services for ZPL conversion, keeping your label data local.

New file editing operations

Two new operations give you more control over document content: PDF Remove text removes text from PDF files, while Rasterize converts page content into raster images.
