Take full control of your document workflows with the latest version of Print Conductor 12.0. This major update allows you to enable additional pre-print operations, automate complex print jobs with greater precision, and handle documents more reliably using a brand-new processing component.
What's new in version 12
New Print Engine for Non-Standard Documents
To address issues such as missing graphics or distorted character rendering in PDF, XPS, and HTML files, a new processing component (AsposePDF) has been integrated. This module is specifically designed to resolve problems associated with non-Latin characters, missing fonts, or incomplete output. If a document fails to render or print correctly, users can activate this component within the Print engine tab.
New Pre-print operations
Version 12 introduces more ways to prepare your files automatically before they hit the paper:
- Grayscale: Automatically apply a grayscale (black-and-white) filter to your documents.
- Insert blank pages: Automatically slip blank pages into your documents at specified intervals.
- Insert pages from another file: Seamlessly insert pages from another file into your print queue.
Custom N-up layouts
You can now set the exact page order when printing Multiple pages per sheet. Choose between Horizontal, Vertical, or both Reversed.
Layout and pagination improvements
We’ve added much more control over the final printed output:
- Bookmark-based slip-sheets: You can now insert cover pages between specific PDF sections divided by bookmarks (PDF bookmarks).
- Print document on front side of paper in duplex mode: When using Single Print Job mode alongside Duplex mode, you can ensure every new document always starts on the front side of the paper.
Improved file list import
You can now map specific, previously saved printer profiles directly to individual documents using the #prnprofile column and use "As in printer" value in your Excel lists.
